Woooow killer texture, man. It looks fantastic. Were you able to do a lot of work in 3DCoat or do you paint mostly in Photoshop for your workflow? I was surprised how simplistic your high poly was, do you just use zbrush to rough out the model for for your topo, then since you rely so heavily on the diffuse texture? I can't knock the effect you achieved, though, this translated fantastically from the concept. Great work.
Hey, don't sweat it, if you're working in videogames, then you're probably busy. Thanks for the info. I'm going to be looking into trying out 3DCoat in my spare time then, it's not the first time I've heard it spoken of so highly!
Looks great! I'm wondering though, it looks like the jaw is a closed model but there's also opacity on it for the leaf-beard. Is there a particular reason for why you would close the model or at least extend it beyond where the opacity map reaches?
